Rename Calhoun Honor College

James F Barker building. Took us from 57th in nation at time, believe he made huge academic strides and did right by athletics. Great man in Clemson history.

I like that, though it’s not a building.***

Never name a building for a living person.

I would avoid names altogether. There’s nothing wrong with it simply being the Honors College like it was originally.

Makes sense to me!***

The leaders of almost any of the 13 colonies owned slaves and certainly all of the Southern colonies. That ownership did not change after we became a nation and the policy stayed in effect until Lincoln freed the slaves. There would be another picture on a dollar bill, no ownership of the Declaration of Independence, many cities and counties renamed and on and on if anyone whose family owned slaves could not have their name called in public. Where does it stop?
