Trevor Lawrence committed to us knowing that KB was here, and he came anyway because he thought he was the better QB. He has shown on the field that he is in fact the better QB.

Let's look at a little recent history:
Georgia 2018 - True freshman QB takes over for injured starter early in the season, never relinquishes job, leads them to national championship game

Alabama 2018 - True freshman takes over in 2nd half of natty game and wins national championship; installed as permanent starter the next year, over the guy who had led them to 2 straight national championship games

Every kid thinks he is the man; there is no birthright assigned to returning QBs

Kelly, you have been an incredible asset to the team; I hate to see you go, but you will always be a TIGER to me!

That said, go get 'em, Trevor!
