Dabo mentioned in the post-game presser that Frank suffered a hip pointer Tuesday and couldn't practice the rest of the week.

With Ngata, I heard Dabo say the kid feels ok at gamete, but hasn't been able to practice.

it seems to me that our offense is designed to run at peak capacity when opposing defenses have to worry about chunk plays on the boundary from guys like Higgins and Ross. This season we really, REALLY needed Ladson and Ngata to step into that role... but it’s becoming clear that neither of them is capable of doing that anytime soon. E.J.? Maybe one day... but he ain’t there either.

We’ll find out a lot next Satdy night.

Thinking ahead to next year and dreaming of possibilities: IF Beaux Collins early enrolls and IF Ross gets a clean bill of health and IF Galloway comes back with Davis Allen and Ennis and IF Ngata and Ladson get right and IF Spector continues to morph into Renfro II and if Pace becomes proficient in pass pro and if Ajou Ajou picks up the whole offense, then Mr DJ U may have himself one pretty fun season. (withheld any speculation on Will Shipley because TE will likely hold him back except for a few blowouts).
