That one and I think it was his last home loss to Maryland. Ran for like 150 yds in the first half and in complete control and then abandoned the run in the 2nd half. When they asked Spence why he stopped he running he said he just wanted to mix it up a little or something to that extent

Kentucky had one of the absolute worst rush defenses in the nation and he ran James Davis and C.J. Spiller A COMBINED thirteen (13) friggin' times.

Was that the game TB was asked why we didn't run the draw against open middle? His answer was we didn't have it in our playbook! Thought that was what whiteboards were for!

That was one BIG shortcoming of Rob Spence....

He would develop a game plan and if the defense did ANYTHING different from what he planned for, he either could not or simply would not make in-game adjustments.

Of course, he only had two plays in his entire play book; bubble screen left and bubble screen right.

That Aaron Kelly dropped pass still hurts! We had a drunk obnoxious BC fan sitting in front of us and the guy just trash talked our section the whole game. Watching him celebrate after they won was unbearable. We had some good teams under TB just never could get over that hump.
I think the success we are having now is even more sweet after all the heartbreak we endure?d for so many years. #Dabo #winning #lovingit
