Persistent neck pain solutions needed for a fat drunken slob!

Sorry for the salacious subject. Seriously though, I’ve had neck pain on the right side of my neck that’s been giving me constant headaches for about a week now. It feels like somebody is pounding me with a bowling ball in my upper back between my right shoulder blade and neck repeatedly. I’ve tried ibuprofen, acetaminophen, heating pad, stretching, but nothing seems to work for very long. What gives? Y’all got any home remedies? I need some relief.

But seriously considering it. Been hoping it’s just muscular and a little rest with some anti inflammatory and pain reliever can fix me up. So far it’s not working.

My aunt had neck fusion surgery years ago, and it started acting up. Doc said they could go back in, but she didn't want that.
She order an inflating pillow deal, like with a pump. It is supposed to stretch and separate the spine in the neck. She likes it. She still has pain, but said it is some relief (with her heating pad)

I tear pillows to shreds somehow. I’m way past due for an upgrade. I might try a slightly cheaper pillow upgrade for now. But stretching the neck while sleeping sounds very nice.
