Or purple jerseys with orange pants or a hodgepodge of whatever. We looked like a Alf and Grimace got ironed out by a steamroller. Those days were fun.

Those were the Tommy Bowden days. I'd be fine if I never saw those purple jerseys or britches again.

The paw got impotently small back in those days, I'm glad Dabo enlarged it again. I also had it when we had the tiger stripes around the collar .

I dont like the purple we use now. Used to be it was a darker shade like Northwestern uses. That is what it still should be.

I didn't mind occasionally seeing the purple pants with white jerseys or the purple jerseys with white pants.
However, the orange with purple combos were hideous IMO and I hope to never see them used again.

Agree. The purple with the white pants always looked best. Wish they did just that for military appreciation. Never a fan of the purple pants are the all Barney look.

Unfortunately, yes I do remember. Hideous looking Uniforms with a lot of uninspired play. The Seniors picked the uniforms because Tommy Bowden lacked the Guts to consistently display Leadership!

Clemson's colors are orange and purple - a rare and distinctive combination. I dig it when they display that in all of its glory - orange jerseys and purple pants - purple jerseys and orange pants !!
