Why are countries what they are and why do conflicts

Jun 19, 2020, 12:17 AM

Arise between and within countries? Cultural differences, which encompasses a lot of things. Look how hard it is was for Britain to keep Northern Ireland, Look at the ever changing boundaries and mass migrations in Europe for hundreds of years, Israel Palestine let's not even go there.........

America is ceasing to be a county because there is only so much bend in a culture/nation you can have before the very reason you are a country in the first place doesn't make sense and isn't sustainable. Modern neo-liberalism totally rejects this reality of all of human history because it has one world and multicultural agenda, at best. Why is the EU strained why did Rome fall? The USSR? It doesn't work. You can argue America proved this wrong but back to the rubber band analogy there is only so much stretch before it snaps in two. I fear we are becoming a massive version of Yugoslavia.

....eventually must come down. Rome was a mighty empire...but if you get the right pieces in place and that crack in the armor will corrode.

America has built up quite the embodiment of freedom. However abuse of freedom...abuse of power...greed...over population...climate change...taking the land for granted...various pollutants...ignored poverty...constant petty crime...shakey government...etc..... has all grown over the years and it appears it will corrode what we know...until it is made new once again.

We laugh at these Sci-fi movies but we are all slowly crawling in that direction of that kind of life. Robots taking over jobs a man was perfect at doing. The Earth's resources being constantly strained. Why you think they are flirting with Mars so hard? Things are falling apart crumb by crumb and people are going to want off this rock.

Neo-liberalism, or economic liberalism is based of a preference for laissez-faire, free-market capitalism of the 19th century. It has a quasi-historic slant to it.

You might want to work on your political theory a bit because you have it a bit backwards.

If you look all of your examples, the one constant is that in the collapse, those empowered insulated themselves from consequences until disenfranchised revolted.

The old adage is to never abuse/trick/insult the stupid. Otherwise they will take a brick and make you stupid too. Then you have two stupids slinging bricks.

Yes - at least for a historical perspective. As long as you take into consideration that any action from that is akin to following an architectural text from the late 1700. Sure Christopher Wren would be interesting but architecture has move a long ways since his symmetry. Plus Robert Hooke's rebuilding of London was better, if more simple.

Give me non-cooperative or semi-cooperative game theory any day of the week. In addition, I like following non-rational decision making concepts. Collective behavior and social construction are a lot more fun.

All throughout history, all empires have fallen. America will be no different. We will have destroyed our own country from within. It is already happening and the millenials, liberals, Democrats, and race baiters do not have a clue that they are destroying their very own country. Read Revelations. No mention of anything closely resembling the USA. I know, I'm a doomsdayer but look around. It's happening.
