I cannot understand people's love of Jeb. In a country with 330 million people the idea that 3 presidents coming from the same family makes no sense to me. Especially since his dimwitted brother W was easily 1 of the worst presidents ever.
I don't see politically dynastic families as being what American Democracy is all about. Quite the contrary.
I guess it's true that people vote by 'name recognition'. However, if not for his daddy and brother, no juan would give jeb a 2nd thought.

I never voted for Obama in either election. And I don't see anybody on either ticket that I want in the white house in this coming election. I'm not a democrat, republican, or an Independent. I'm an American, and I vote for the American that I feel will do a better job for America and the American people, and our country as a whole. The last few elections that has been an impossible task, so I have voted for whom I thought would be the lesser of the evils. And that is what I will have to task myself in doing this time around, try to pick the Best of the group that's not qualified candidates to run our country. The only real plan they are working the hardest on, is how much chit they can throw on each other while expressing how wrong they would be at running our great country. It makes me wonder how wrong will their VP be for our country!!! But if I had to vote today, even though he doesn't stand a chance of making it to the white house, I would vote for what I believe as of now would be the lesser of the evils, John Kasich.

I met him today. I own a restaurant in Conway and he walked in out of the blue and had lunch. I wish he could gain some momentum. Has succeeded at federal and state level. He helped write the budget in congress the last time we had one. Turned his his state (Ohio) from huge budget deficit to huge surplus. Also Ohio is a must win state for whoever is elected

socialist and one that seems to have reversing the last couple of elections. In a sports perspective Hillary reminds me of UNC, why Hillary isn't in jail and why UNC isn't on probation baffle me. I will never vote for someone that has socialist in their name. So that leaves me hoping whoever the republican nominee is can win and proves that they were what America needs. Whoever wins is going to have a tough job reducing the deficit, cleaning up health care and bringing us back together. The economy, national division and national security are huge pieces to mend in my opinion. Who can or fix us?

You understand of course that Social Security, Medicare and free public education from grades 1 thru 12 are democratic socialism right?
Or would you prefer candidates bought and paid for by Wall St., Oil Companies, Insurance companies and Pharmaceutical companies? Cause that's what we've had for the last 30 years.
Show me where it's written in the Constitution that our Government is by the rich and for the rich? It's time for the government to be by the PEOPLE and FOR the PEOPLE.
Go Democratic Socialist Tigers!

All of those programs that you just mentioned are constantly in trouble. If you want big government to control more of your life, take more of your money and make more decisions for you then vote for bernie. However, before you do that you may want to check what has happened is other socialist countries. Check the freedoms they have, Once a government gains more power, they are very reluctant to give it up. Personally, Electing a socialist is just like giving up and throwing in the towel because you don't think you can make it on your own.

No offense but I wish people would look up the term Socialist and then compare it to Democratic Socialist. Fundamentally "Democratic" is at direct odds with "Socialist". People seem to get the 2 confused.
Free public education for grades 1-12 is democratic socialism.
How you liking them high health insurance premiums your paying? Given a choice between my life being controlled by corporations and the gummint....I'll take gummint everytime. At least they're not making a profit.

Is it wrong of me to have had stronger feelings before the Tigers national championship game than who gets elected president? The whole idea of democrat/ republican always confused me. Great! Let's divide the country before we elect a leader. I'd be perfectly fine with wiping the drawing board of everyone that holds any kind of power in Washington and starting from scratch.

Feb 19, 2016, 9:14 PM
|

the other candidates are fence riding in an attempt to appeal to everyone but not Deez Nuts. He always sticks to one side and makes it clear that he has all his eggs in one basket. Hearing some of the things candidates like Donald Trump have said you would think that they've completely lost their marbles but that's not the case with Mr. Nuts. It doesn't take long for one to realize that the other candidates are playing with half a set compared to Deez Nuts. The balls in Mr. Nuts court and it's only a matter of time before he sacks the competition and bags himself the presidency.

I'm voting for Trump 'cause I want to see that dang wall get built. There is an easy solution to getting that done, and I will send that solution to Trump if he wins it all (however, it will #### off the soccer moms and Mexicans). This is gonna be fun to watch.
I've only seen one candidate with the stones to make anything actually happen. Politicians are so tiring, and he's the only non-politician that I've seen. Sounds like most of you believe all the rhetoric that spews forth from the mouths of these idiots and liars.

He's a deranged narcissistic demagogue who is only popular because he is good at manipulating angry stupid people. He's already proven he's not a Republican. He's using the idea of conservatism to create a crazy spectacle. And all of his willing idiots are even a worse disease to the USA than the Black Lives Matter movement.
