where all hope that they may have had going into the season or from victories throughout the season has waned and is now completely gone. They begin the implosion process and turn on each other and completely collapse. This leads to the next and final phase of their season which will be the "wait till next year" phase.

So that sucking sound here northwest of Chicago is the coots sucking so bad. Wife asked yesterday what that sound was and now I know. Geez it is bad. At first I thought it was Wisconsin.
