Coots SEC/ESPN $Millions has gotten them over the ACC curve

which took awhile but is paying off handsomely now..which $5-$10 million more income per year can do for any school.

Consider their 2 NC baseball program wins with a 3rd as runner-up..now having best years in football including a 4-peat over Clemson, winning the SEC East & playing for the title once, beating UGA 3 straight times (and they may end up as NC this year)..spending $35 Million I heard on fixing up around Willie B with wide screen board/landscaping/etc...plus paying Spurrier many millions per year.

Not jealous for the most part, but just stating facts...that ESPN + Money + SEC are all interlocked..and ruling the college football scene unlike we've ever seen..and has caused some of the re-alignment of conferences we're seeing now..causing rivalries to be forgotten to make ends meet financially. SAD!

politicians started stepping in trying to end some of this non sense.Especially if their schools start losing sports because of financial trouble.They threatened to interfere with the BCS before.

but they won't and that's just the way it is. I'm afraid that's the only possible chance we have of getting into the SEC which I have wanted for years. Tight spot to be in for sure.

....and do what ? They have no power over the SEC. They are going to make the SEC let us in ? They are going to make the coots get out of the SEC ? That is the dumbest statement I have ever heard.

Good players and good coaches are what get it done. The SEC has a money edge, but the schools will find some way to blow it and not have much to show for it.
