Xavier Thomas is only 17 years old and has shown many, many times through tweets etc. that his heart belongs to Clemson.
He has been trying so hard to recruit great players for the Tigers, and if his dad wants to him to take his official visits, and he abides by his dad's wishes, I see no harm in that.
My best wishes are with Xavier.

Guys, just stop. Xavier hasn't taken official visits, has said no to it...it's his dad wanting him to after the fact. Doesn't mean he will, and doesn't mean that if he does, he doesn't just realize Clemson IS the right place for him. He's 100% committed to the Tigers...'nough said.

I hope that he still wants Clemson, but I understand his father wants him to be sure. An official trip to Clemson should be one of his trips.

I agree with the understanding that this is a limited seat journey and the next available DE will be offered, and if accepted , XT will Lose his seat or at least no guarantees. Dad is legally his guardian and he has the best interest for him. Wish XT the best either way ..

If he had a man to man with Dabo and told him he is coming back (ala Shaq Smith), then Dabo would hold his spot. I highly doubt he would tell the #1 DE no.

dude is going to possibly start next year for one of the top defensive programs in the country. Outside of Bama, the traditional powerhouses in the region are a mess except for us. The separation talent wise we have is glaring. I trust him to make the best decision.
