losses if CU and ND go to the playoff? Doubtful. A Miami win would have given the ACC a better chance of getting 3 bids for the Six big payout games. Oh Well.

Maybe. They might be able to pass the loser of the Big 12 champ game. Also, if Coastal and Cincy both stay ahead of them only one will get the NY6 slot. And hopefully OSU is the only team from the B1G in a NY6, so UNC will have a shot.

I didn't realize N.C. had three losses already. Don't think I have ever seen a team with 3 losses in a NY6 game but this is a strange year.

it is a big blowout and Florida beats Bama. If FL beats Bama, and we beat ND and it's close, the four in should be:

Clemson
Florida
ND
Bama

Ohio St should be left out...not enough data points! But if Clemson and Bama both win, ND will drop to 4th, and play Bama. We will play Oh St.

To add to this question. If say hypothetically,

Clemson in Rose Bowl
Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl

Doesn’t the next highest ACC team get a slot in the Orange? That would be UNCheat now.
