This Came Across my Facebook

Feb 13, 2018, 2:08 PM

And just wondering who y'all might select?

Deshaun Watson is a no brainer for me.

Pick number 2 is harder:
If I vote on favorite I would probably go Nuk or Gaines Adams but if I'm going by need I think Dawkins

Yeah I didn't make the list but just passed it along

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Good point - I'd write in the Bpstics

Feb 13, 2018, 3:37 PM [ in reply to no o-line choices at all,but what we need most*** ]

or one Bostic and one Stacy Long

With D Wat being a no brainer, ill switch it up

Feb 13, 2018, 2:12 PM

Just based on position needs. I'll take M. Alexander, and Dwight Clark. Tough list ha ha

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: With D Wat being a no brainer, ill switch it up

Feb 13, 2018, 5:26 PM

I'm with you. I'll take Alexander & Clark. But, I'd rather have Jordan Leggitt.

Feb 13, 2018, 2:14 PM

I think I'd have to go Watson and Gallman.

I think our defense will be just fine and receiver wise we've still got studs.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Whaaaaa

Feb 13, 2018, 2:43 PM

Gallman... for real? What upgrade does he give us over Feaster and Etienne next season. C'mon man!

Feb 13, 2018, 3:29 PM

Wow smh

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Whaaaaa

Feb 13, 2018, 4:52 PM [ in reply to Whaaaaa ]

Umm, pass protection and a work horse back?

Gallman wasn't as flashy as DW4, Mike Williams, etc. but he was just as #### vital to us winning a national championship and is a more complete back than any we have at Clemson right now.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Or Spiller, for that matter...***

Watson to Hopkins would be unstoppable.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

DW4 and Sammy

Feb 13, 2018, 2:20 PM

All we are lacking from a national title team is an explosive passing game. Those two would make it happen instantly.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sammy

Feb 13, 2018, 2:43 PM

would also give us a killer return game. Wonder how many people would choose Pinion if he was on the list...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

None. We are a great team, don't need any help

Feb 13, 2018, 2:21 PM

Spiller and Fridge .

Not out of need , but because they had such great personalities and could play lights out at a moment's notice.

Can you imagine Dexter and the Fridge at DT. There would be no positive rushing yardage.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wilkins

is quite the game changer himself

Other teams would just forego plying the middle of the field in hopes of positive yardage .

Picking the #2's

Mackensie Alexander and Sammy Watkins

Both those two players were game changers at their positions

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Some hard choices.

Feb 13, 2018, 3:00 PM

But I'd go with Alexander since it would be nice to have super no-fly zone.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: This Came Across my Facebook

Feb 13, 2018, 3:02 PM

Mac & Dawkins. Shut down the back end.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

My choices as well! No one would score on this defense.

Feb 13, 2018, 7:19 PM

Mac didn’t get picks, but he shut down half the field. No one would attempt to throw his way. We’d have an extra Natty if he hadn’t gotten hurt.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: This Came Across my Facebook

Watson and Spiller.

Re: This Came Across my Facebook

Dawkins and Watson
Defense would be unfair at that point.
Watson so obvious I'm going to say Sammy to switch it up. Special teams game changer and WR

Dawkins, Alexander or Clark

Feb 13, 2018, 3:34 PM

Maybe Mike Williams for his catch everything skills or Sammy for his constant threat to score on any touch (but Spiller had that too)

Not sure we need any other WR or DL help.

Re: This Came Across my Facebook

Feb 13, 2018, 3:57 PM

Dawkins and Hopkins.

Shutdown safety behind the d-line? Unfair.

Hopkins as #1 target for TL or even KB.

Watson was greatest player we ever had, but with the pieces we have in place for next year, I think we'd get by fine without him (witness last year right up until the end). Plugging a hole at safety and giving two very good QBs a perfect receiver...

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-20yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Dawkins and Clark and it ain't even close.

Feb 13, 2018, 4:03 PM

Those are the two positions out of this group we need the most help with.....now if there were some oline men listed then we'd have a different convo.

Dawkins and Alexander. We are loaded at all the other positions pictured, with the possible exception of tight end.

Re: This Came Across my Facebook

Feb 13, 2018, 5:04 PM

Shaq and Mac. Defense is missing both of those type personalities!

I believe 100% that if Shaq was on last year's team, he would have been seen on camera giving the offense an earful hiring the National championship.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Watson and Watkins for sure.

Feb 13, 2018, 5:06 PM

They are arguably the two most dynamic, game-changing players in our program’s history.

Alexander and Watson. Just to let the young ones grow for another season. Then we would have an experienced Lawrence/Johnson/Brice etc. taking over and a loaded DB group. I would love to add Nuk, Sammy, or Mike but we are literally TOO DEEP at WR

Re: This Came Across my Facebook

Feb 13, 2018, 7:54 PM

I'd have to go with Dwat and Spiller. Spiller could get us a spark in the return game too.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Only one answer needed.

Feb 13, 2018, 8:16 PM

CJ Spiller. Funny as time passes we forget how great he was. He carried a team that had 1/3 the talent we've witnessed the past few years.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.
