I am very eagerly looking forward to the Trump children, Q anon lawyers, heck the entire #### brigade fading into obscurity. Maybe henceforth we can all agree that the candidate supported by the illuminati youtube video watchers and antivaxxer/flat earth facebook group members is probably not the best person to be president.

Let's say Nikki Haley was president seeking a 2nd term in 2020, she would have beat Biden. The conspiratorial nutcase route of Trump was a sinking ship. That's why peeps pushed back. People don't want such dysfunctional leadership as Trump provided. Look at the people he surrounded himself. It was a clown show. No way 4 more years of that was happening. He wanted the attention more than he wanted the job.

I suggest you are wrong. If GOP had won yesterday trump could hold some cards, but after yesterday it's over. Trump never won a popular vote. He lost the white house. He lost the senate. Make no mistake, the GOP senators lost yesterday because of trump. Period. Sane republicans can now make the case that trump never was a solid republican and hijacked the GOP. The GOP will gradually move on from don, eric, ivanka, lil don, etc. Yesterdy's results are good news for the GOP.
Don does swing a big stick with the working class voters, but it turns out his stick doesnt connect with enough working class voters.

just cost them the Pres election and control of the Senate. Hitching your wagon to the Trump crazy train will fail. It's left the station and most folks chose not to get on. Qanon, deep state, fake news, conspiracy theories, rigged elections, it's just the flu, martial law... blah blah blah. It's almost like they were betting that most Americans were stupid enough to go along with all of that. But they're not. It backfired. Hugely.

I don't disagree, but I think the Reps find themselves between a rock and a hard place.The Trump crazy train won't work, but if they alienate the Trumper voters, they will lose to Dems in the next election.
The reality that Reps have to change their policies to attract a more diverse group of voters.
And IF the Dems can be tempered and smart in the next two years, they stand to reduce the Reps to the minority party at a number of levels and for a period of time.

Well of course they do. Trump lit that fire even before the election. "The only way I can lose is if the election is rigged". And he kept throwing gas on that fire non-stop up to the election, during the election, after the election, and even now. And other Pubs and Fox talking heads repeated it 24/7.
It's like being shocked that everybody stampeded out of the movie theater in a panic. Ummm... well... you were the one screaming Fire!! at the top of your lungs... so...
