And, why on the ACCN? For another week I won't get to see them.

When they are on the Road. I realize that Monopolistic Contract with NBC dictatates either a 2:30 (ET) or an occasional night game.

What’s wrong with noon games? I only watch Clemson football, I get my fix and then have multiple hours to calm down, read Tigernet and every other online article about my team and go to bed early.
If it’s a lack of prestige, OK, but I don’t care about that. We are the elephant sized tiger in the room that cannot be ignored. It doesn’t seem to be hurting recruiting. Am I missing something?
I like noon games.

I have completely endorsed noon starts. Watch the Tigers then relax and enjoy my favorite losers getting beat. Better than waiting all day for the game

1. I have kids in HS and Jr High. They often have sporting events in Saturday and they are usually around noon.
2. I like to drink some frosted barley pops while watching the Tigers, I also like to watch all the CFB I can, and I ain’t 20 anymore....or even 40.

3:30 is by far my favorite kickoff time. With that said I’m thankful we get a noon kick on Halloween. Watch the Tigers then get ready to enjoy Halloween falling on a Saturday.

It seems weird to people who like to go to the games and tailgate but 12:00 is the better TV time slot.
The noon games are national broadcasts on ABC.
The 3:30 ABC games are regional.
If we aren't playing at night, noon is the next best TV time.
In saying that, I always prefer games to be 3:30 or 7:30. It gives me more time to get the grill going.

I haven't checked the rating but I would disagree with you.
If College Gameday gets big ratings in the central and eastern parts of the country, why you assume that a 9:00 AM kickoff Pacific time would have nobody watching?
The central time zone plays a lot of noon game (11:00 local) so they definitely are used to watching games during that time slot.
I would certainly prefer to have a 9:00 game to wake up and watch rather than having to bumble around finding something to do until noon on Saturday.

Not sure about ratings, they are skewed anyway since College Football is not as popular on the West Coast.
Sports Books and Sports Bars in Vegas are pretty crowded at 9 AM on Saturdays in the Fall. The year we waxed Miami 56-0, I watched the game over breakfast in a sports bar in Vegas.

Because our opponents suck. I'm glad they are noon games. I wish they were 9 a.m from TV watching standpoint. I'm ready at 6 a.m.

I really don't care to watch GT, Syracuse, or BC any time of day? Now watching Clemson is a different story and I'm ready any time. I reckon the ones looking for ratings and advertisement $s just see it different.

We're the #1 team, but the matchups are really poor. We just won 73-7 this past week, and we're currently favored by 44.5 for our upcoming game. That doesn't attract too many non-Clemson fans to watch.

Early afternoon games are what I grew up on, and there is nothing better than watching a game under a crystal clear Clemson blue sky with autumn's brilliance shining all around the hillsides.
Plus, early games get maximum highlight run, so the people -- and recruits -- watching the 3:30 games and night games will see plenty of Tiger footage.

If you’re watching on tv you can see the noon game and have time to hit the woods and maybe shoot a deer.
