Look, any given team can be motivated on any given Saturday.
UNC had the cards in their favor.
Home field advantage, crowd in their favor, and guess what, they still LOST at the end of the day !
Why should you ever be penalized for a win ?!?

Let's start with the obvious good news first. We won the game. As Dabo says...even if just by one point to any team...it's a W. As the season progresses...we'll see a number of no loss teams lose a game here and there...and we'll still be undefeated. No matter how much ESPN or the committees don't like us or the schedule we play or the conference we're in...having zero losses can't be ignored.
However, I think it is fair to bump us down after last Sat. Our offense was listless and lackluster. Weird play calls. Throwing when we should have run. Running when we should have thrown. We seemed to go for bombs instead of short yardage pass plays. Started to get momentum and ETN fumbles. Missed FG by an awesome kicker with a gun of a leg. Just one of those weird games. But we under performed. No doubt about it.

Agreed. One game does not a season make. I wouldn't get all hot and bothered about it. As you say, the number of undefeated of teams (18 right now) will be reduced each week. I don't believe Clemson will be one of the casualties. First and foremost, the committee looks at wins. Losses hurt more than anything else. Enjoy the ride and GooooooTigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and Wisconsin twice. Why are you confident they will go undefeated?
Oklahoma has a better shot IMO (even though i think Ohio State is the better team right now), but the Big XII is pretty deep this year and they will have to play a rematch against somebody pretty good in the Big XII title game.
The SEC is going to eat itself. I have absolutely no confidence in LSU going 13-0 and even less in Auburn. Georgia and Alabama mayyybe.

Because UNC sucks and people are expecting what they saw from the team vs Bama last year. Also, we haven't looked that great this year yet, so it makes the pundits wonder. They have to talk all day about something. We gave them some amunition.
