Will is far from the only Spiers with strong Clemson roots. His father, Bill, is a former baseball standout and punter for the Tigers who now serves as a senior special teams assistant. Will’s sister, Ashley, works as an assistant for coach Dabo Swinney in the football offices and his late grandfather, Bud, also played baseball at Clemson. His cousin, Carson, was an All-ACC relief pitcher for the Tigers last season.“
