What kind of deal to Maine, JMU and other early season teams

get for coming to Clemson and getting hammered? Do they get a check like the football teams do? Do we pay for there expenses and they get nothing more?

I've really never heard that anything about any kind of agreements

Many Northern teams take a Southern tour early in the season when the weather is not good where they came from. In the past, Maine would play Clemson a series and then head to USuCk next. They will play quite a few games on this tour before heading back North for hopefully better weather.
