Need Some Help

Oct 5, 2015, 6:10 PM

With the roads as they are, what's the best way out of the Upstate to bypass Columbia if you are trying to avoid the bridges and interstates around the city, then head on I-26 towards I-95?

Many thanks. Go Tigers!!!!

This is the route we took home Sunday afternoon:

I-85N to I-385S to I-26W, Take St. Andrews exit off I26 near Columbia, turn right on Broad River Road, cross over I20, take left on Clements Rd, then left on Monticello Rd, that will take you on out to I20E, and bypasses the river.

Good luck

I went straight through Columbia this morning. Slight detour on I-20 to 378. It really only took 10 to 15 minutes longer. That was around 11:30 this morning.

Would probably take 385/26 to Newberry, take the 1st Newberry exit(exit 72/hwy 121), take 121 to Saluda, then 178 to Orangeburg.
