What impressed me most about Wofford

Mar 22, 2019, 9:04 AM

was how hard they ran their offense, full speed in the motion and cuts. Every player knew how to use and come off a screen. And all of their many shooters was prepared to shoot when they caught it off the screen. Young is a heck of a coach. That was a fun game to watch. If they shoot well, they'll give Kentucky fits. May not win, but theyll have a chance

If/when we are looking for a new coach

Mar 22, 2019, 9:21 AM

I think he's one of the first interviews and gets serious consideration.

At Clemson, identifying under the radar talent will always be a key to success. Always has been in our past. When you cant/dont recruit in the rarified air of the blue bloods, you have to be able to find guys others miss on.

Look at our history. Nance, Grant, Campbell, Davis, Buckner, McIntyre, Hammonds, KJ. Most of the best players in our history weren't that highly recruited. Young has found guys like that for a while

Good observation, every player knew what his job was on each

The formula is recruiting kids who play hard, can shoot, and have a high basketball IQ. It's pretty tough to follow but Mike Young has perfected it; his teams are extremely disciplined and have a heightened awareness

Seton Hall harrassed them full court the last

25 minutes last night, with much better athletes, and they still had only about 10 turnovers. Very, very disciplined.

coach who knows how to run an offense.

I watched them beat the holes in Chapel Hill

last year and just remember how well they played in that environment. They're better now. Very inpressive

They play good offense and good defense which equals a good team.

Agreed. What also was impressive was how many

guys they had who could nail the 3. Not only could they shoot, they could get open, create their own shots, and were deadly accurate under pressure.
