Im not sure what to make of this...
It appears to refer to the fall of man except everything is in Clemson orange.
Why draw a parallel of a recruit choosing Clemson to Adam and Eve choosing sin?
Dont get me wrong, Ive learned not to question this staff and recruiting.. but this just comes off as strange...
thoughts?

I'll bite.
The hand shown isn't of a recruit potentially choosing Clemson. Going for the orange isn't going for Clemson. You'll notice that the hand is already fully decked out in Clemson colors and insignia; furthermore, championship rings are already being worn by the hand. So the orange in the tree represents a kind of insatiable thirst, a desire for more Orange Bowls and more championships, etc, bordering on greed, which is the kind of sinful desire and greed I'll happily accept, in this case. 
Still a bit creepy, yes...

When I first looked at it, my thought was reaching for another ACC championship and the Orange Bowl, because of the rings on the hand. I think it's all just symbolism and a cool graphic, no reason to twist it

@NFLU Well I had never seen the album cover so I didnt understand the reference. The presence of the snake is what threw me off the most but with obvious nod to the album cover I get it now.

This is simply a picture of a rapper's album cover that clemson used to appeal a recruit that probably listens to the same rapper. It's actually a pretty neat edit to honest. Pics like these appeal to the new generation of recruits.

Personally, I think it's kinda weird but I get trying to appeal to a younger generation through their music. As a theist, I'm not really offended because they have their freedom of expression but I can understand why a Christian would not appreciate such imagery. My thing is, why associate anything Clemson with "thugs" and thug culture who try and present themselves in some biblical fashion (thinking Kanye):
Now perhaps "thug" is used loosely now and that word has become slang and I'm just not in the know. I will say the editing is spectacular. I actually thought that was maybe DW's hand with the tats. regardless if this is a miss/near miss with the media dept, they've still done an exceptional job.

I dont think comparing a picture of a hand reaching for an orange, with a snake around his hand, with some sick bowl rings on the hand, symbolizing that Clemson is getting ready to strike again, is the same as an album cover with Kanye West on the front trying to portray Jesus. People want to be offended and just look so far in to things, when the kid that opens it is just seeing it as a cool picture. And the staff that made it had no intentions to symbolize something demonic. But, everyone has their opinions

Ok, I was just told what this means. It's an album young people have seen as the latest thing. It says at the very top on the Orange(not Apple) we too deep in 17. Pick us in 2017 and go to the Orange bowl at Clemson, We too deep!
Dabo nor any recruit is seeing an apple instead of an orange. They just relate to the latest album that came out.
Dabo would not go for the apple that had a bite in it.(no bites here)
Our recruiting is great because we are relating to recruits on their level.
Like us in the 80's with the Motly Crew album with the baby smoking. Only relating to recruit that they know likes this rapper by putting pick Clemson in 17 we too deep.
