With or without Trevor...

Get well Trevor! I hope he’s back for ND of course....

But more than any program in CFB ..
We are built for challenges like this ...

Of course because of depth- but more importantly because of character and love - which is what our program is built on..

Clemson football is a family and they will fight with everything they have ....

You better believe every player will be out there fighting for Clemson and Trevor ..
He’s their brother and a team leader -
They won’t let him down..

they had 4 field goals that one game. plus I suspect BV will really be aggressive on D if TL cant play hoping to have a very low scoring game.

I'm not doubting us.

I'm doubting what to expect from Notre Dame.

First they put up 12 against a terrible Louisville defense and then they put up 45 against a Pitt defense who is supposed to be one of the strongest in the conference behind Clemson.

Based on what I have seen from Notre Dame in various games this season, we could beat them by 40 or we could lose with inopportune turnovers and the like.

I will wait to make up my mind after watching DJ play this weekend.

They put up 45 because Pitt turned it over 3 times...

Ian Book is a game manager not a game changer...

45 points looks nice - but their offense didn’t suddenly get better...turnovers put them in position to score - not improved execution...

I believe Pitt was playing a back-up QB in the game.

I feel pretty confident our options for a back-up QB are superior to Pitt's, but those kinds of things happen when a young guy tries to make big plays in a big game.

That's why I want to see DJ run the show this weekend before I get a feel for how he might react at Notre Dame.

Tomorrow will be a "big game" for him because everybody's first start is a big game.

But Pitt doesn’t have ETN either ...

If need be - ETN will see more carries than he’s had in any game prior to ND..

Actually we may see ETN’s Heisman campaign get a boost the next two weeks...
