We need more speed out of our Safeties

We need to recruit faster Safeties. It is an old saying that you can't coach speed. It is no knock on our current Safeties but none of them appear to have the fast recovery speed that is sometimes needed. Realize that for years this has not been a big requirement of Venables when it comes to LBs and Safeties but he may want to rethink that position. Time to re-examine the recruiting strategy.

Neither is playing safety in the NFL.....that should tell you something. Simmoms could be playing Safety but we all know Muse was a pass coverage liability.
