We likely would have lost anyway - but come on - that PI call on HIGGINS?

And taking the TD off the board? Plus bad call & no review of of the C. E.-Helaire boundary play? Read this:

Yeah the interference call may can be attributed to the view

ing angle of the ref. A bad call that we can only complain about.
The Helaire out of bounds no-call was worse and heads should roll. But the fast pace killed the potential for a review apparently.

Really the only call I had a problem with the whole night. Lots of grabbing both ways the rest of the game. The sideline play with Hillaire just got run by too fast by the pace and no obvious discrepancy at first look.

total moot point now

Herbstreit questioned it before the snap, the replay officials should have also

I still think that they would have scored on that possession, so it would have only delayed the inevitable

But it would have forced them to melt more clock and maybe not get that last TD before half.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Not an excuse, but I agree. I think that call kept the game from being closer and more competitive in the end. I really think we would have still lost, but it would have been a lot better of a game.

It was technically correct as he did push off, but it was a bad call in that the both interfered with eachother. Should have at the very least been a replay of down.

I get why higgens pushed him off, but you must have the discipline to focus on the ball and let the ref call the D PI.

Me personally i would have just let the play stand.
