WCCP- Jim Rome and Philpott

Sounds like Philpot is out again. Personally, I do not like Roys show. Just not my style but for the life of me I can't get the whole Jim Rome thing. Must be the west coast. Guy is annoying.

Roy is out a lot. I understand he does ESPN games, but, he needs to do his show with more regularity. Tim Brando used to call a ton of games each year, however, he rarely missed doing his Radio Show! Get it together Flex Time!!

I think Roy comes across as the most professional of that group. He is the king of cliche and that drives me crazy. Also has a bit of arrogance to him.
Nationally I think Dan Patrick has the best show by far.
Locally.....none are "great" but they are what they are.

The thing I dislike most about Rome is that he constantly interviews athletes. Interviewing athletes doesn't make for good radio as the mostly always give bland answers and no insight

Rome is far less annoying to me than Philpot, he is pretty funny honestly once you get used to him.I wish WCCP would dump Walt and replace him even with a tape delay of Rome.

I enjoy Roy's show. They have fun... he talks about fun hypotheticals, it is light hearted... Roy admits when he is wrong (not a know it all).
Agree with Rome though. Ive never been able to listen to that guy.

Seriously though all the local WCCP guys sound the same to me. Except Walt. He dropped in from the Outer Rim somewhere by the sound of his voice.
Anyhooo. I have no real hate towards Philpot or Rome. I find both shows equally ok. I have to admit I'd prefer Philpot over Rome since he covers Clemson Sports.
