Trevor and Darien may have saved college football

Aug 10, 2020, 10:12 PM

Trevor Lawrence and Darien Rencher may have just saved college football. Despite the BIG10 vote the ACC and SEC have publically announced they are 100 percent committed to playing the season and the BIG12 also looks to be on board while the PAC12, while once being thought inevitable to cancel, has now planned an emergency meeting in which they say they will do everything to make a season happen. Meanwhile the BIG10 is digging in their heads while their money teams like Ohio State and Michigan, along with teams like Iowa and Nebraska have already said they would consider leaving the B10 to play in the SEC or B12 in order to play the season. The B10 literslly just committed suicide. They never had the best interest of their players and teams at heart and simply wanted to fall in line with the rest of the fear-mongered sycophants who believe human life should just be canceled while we cower in fear forever. Life has to go on and we can't shake and cower in fear forever. Football can be the conduit used to help heal and divided and broken country.

Let me make this abundantly clear. The players overwhelmingly want to play. The past 36 hours have made that quite clear. They are the ones who would be most at risk and they still want to play and feel safe and confident on their campuses and within the confines of the established and agreed upon safety protocols. In short, their opinions are the ONLY ones who matter in this situation.

Trevor Lawrence is a wise man and he hit the nail squarely on the head. Nobody within the NCAA leadership has a 10th of the common sense and wisdom he has and he just put them to task and maybe saved all of college football.

I couldn't be more proud of our Clemson Tigers for leading the charge against the corrupt and ill-intentioned conference and NCAA leadership. Their voices have been heard and they have unified all of college football behind them.

Agree completely. They just mentioned Trevor again on FOX news in a reasoned discussion with a congressman from Ohio.

This post won't age well in 72 hours when all leagues have cancelled football
