What a depressing, negative take by the author.
TL might have gotten Covid even if he sat out. Or maybe even something worse might have happened to him.

Life is a gift. A gift you can’t enjoy hiding in your basement. I’m glad the kid chose to live his life and play the game he loves with his teammates he loves. His attitude is way better than this author’s.

I agree that Trevor should be (and is) appreciated for his contributions to getting this team where it is today. And, yes, we should (and most do) pray for him. I disagree that he is a 22-year-old hothead. Standing your ground is not being a hothead, and Trevor was 20 until he turned 21 in October.
