Missing basically 4 starters ...

Oct 24, 2020, 7:42 PM

Davis, Skalski, Kendrick, and Etienne..

And we still win by 26...

What a spoiled fan base we’ve become with all the whining ,...

Yes it was ugly and sloppy..
But we’re every opponent’s Super Bowl ...
‘Cuse was looking to redeem themselves after the horrible game last weekend...

26 point wins are now not good enough ...
Would you prefer a 2 point loss ...

Much less spoiled fan base and much more bandwagon, insecure hang-arounders. Those people can take a hike and go cheer for Ohio St or Bama.

They could I guess - but Bama had a tight game with a crappy Ole Miss team...

But yes - you’re probably right ...

Any fan that remembers the Hatfield, West, or Bowden years would be immensely grateful for the program we have today...

Agreed. I sat in the stands for all three of those. These are the golden years and the bandwagoners make this place almost untenable. Crump needs to lower the boom on these people.

The focus clearly wasn't there today

Oct 24, 2020, 7:59 PM

Amari brought his A-game as did Mike Jones. ETN showed toughness by trotting back out there while less than 100%.

Not too many others did.

Am I the only one seeing that LJD is most definitely not explosive? He's a serviceable backup. Looks worse this year to me.

Nolan and KJ were definitely there on defense today.

First off, I’m no bandwagoner. Survived the 34 year drougHt between championships. I know how special this run is. But you gotta understand, we now have to compete at an elite level. It’s not good enough to just win games. We beat unc last year and dropped 4 places in the championship hunt. The press did that to us just that easily..

You can’t deny that we started leaking a 17 point lead, let them get within 6 points and snapped the ball 5 ft over the qb’s head on our side of the field ending up 3 and out with no momentum.

Yes we pulled it out against Syracuse, this won’t fly against OSU or Bama. There is room for improvement and folks are just mentioning it. Doesn’t mean we are any less worthy of being a fan of Clemson.

There’s a reason over half the national champions in the last 20 years have finished the season with at least one loss. To expect us to not only win but to win by 40 every game is absolutely unrealistic and not a healthy expectation. Clemson fans ability to freak out can be significantly lessened by being able to see the big picture in reality.

You can’t be serious. Your example - last year - we PLAYED

IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

Football is not a transitive proposition.

Good LORD man - get a grip.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

We seem to not be our best with a 3 nan front which we ran a lot today.
Missed Skalski and Kendrick a bunch.

Yes, butttttttttt

The defense was ok. Could have been better, but the issue was offense.

Receivers, no separation.
Rogers was great as usual.
O line not doing well.
Syracuse seemed to dictate to us, not the other way around.

The offense was not missing anyone.

Re: What we’re missing on offense is-

Oct 24, 2020, 8:40 PM

Justyn Ross...without a doubt..

Our coaching staff has adjusted though by wisely utilizing ETN in the passing game ...

But until either Ngata, Larson or maybe Williams step up their game we are short the multiple big play threats that really make our offense go...

When they do ...

LOOK OUT!!
Because we are putting up 40+ points by utilizing ETN, tight ends , and Rodgers in smart ways...

Which will only benefit us later this year - when one or more of our WRs start performing to their big play potential...

However - until that happens ...having ETN at a 100% is a critical element to our offense ...

We missed him today when he was out - undoubtedly...

Re: What we’re missing on offense is-

Oct 24, 2020, 8:44 PM

Ladson not Larson
Autocorrect

The creativity or offense coaching staff is using right now will greatly benefit us later ...

Because Ladson, Ngata, and Williams are too talented not to step up ...

It’s a shame Bowman entered the portal - he would’ve been a better big play threat later in the year as his comfort level grew..

Go look at what Cuse has lost.

Oct 24, 2020, 9:16 PM

They are down to 60ish scholarship players.
