The actor Paul Picerni who had over 200 movie and tv credits was a bombardier in the Army Air Force during WWII, flew 25 combat missions and received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was the bombardier on the plane that bombed and destroyed the real bridge made famous in the film The Bridge on the River Kwai.

The Heston Ben Hur. My all time favorite. I'll watch it this weekend, along with The Passion of Christ, and an underrated, but very good "Risen", with Joseph Fiennes.

Of these Bridge is my favorite,but Ben-Hur sits atop my All- Time top 100.
And yes I do have a top 100 ,but I won't list them here.
