he was saying we should abolish the Constitution because it was written by rich old white people to benefit rich old white people. The NPR reporter did not push back on that answer at all.

Would you mind telling me how they're going to find a way to pass laws that overrule those amendments?
The extreme right of America has pushed legislation and efforts the most to curb the First over the last few decades.
People keep telling me they're coming for my guns but it never happens.
I'll agree on the 4th Amendment; however, that seems to be a bipartisan effort to restrict that, especially post 9/11.

I'm conservative and I don't like the liberal agenda, but when we say things like our 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendment rights are going to disappear, most serious ppl will dismiss that as the scare tactic that it is.
Why not just point out reasonable specifics with which you disagree. It's a lot more effective.

Some states have banned assault rifles.
I think all guns should be legal and we should just make a law reducing magazine capacity.
But, if you’re worried about all guns being outlawed, it ain’t never ever going to happen. We will always remain a center right or center left country.
