The Clemson coaching staff is so friendly and approachable!

Jun 11, 2015, 9:34 AM

My oldest son was at Clemson over the weekend and he had a good time. What I was happy and surprised to see was how friendly the coaches were to my son and the rest of my family. We spent quite a while with Coach Venables who spoke candidly about coaching against his friends vs Oklahoma last year. Coach Brooks started a conversation with me and we spent some time Sunday with Dabo. Considering there were nearly 700 campers there it was very organized. There were other coaches there we spoke with briefly. What a great experience for all involved.

never been, but your story seems to be standard. that's

awesome. i can only imagine how difficult it must have been for bv in the bowl, it's business, but those guys are football family too. the way clemson's defense performed had to raise old ghosts around norman about venables, an ou adopted son, getting away.

i think it was corey miller a few years back that really opened some eyes about the camp. glad you, your son had a great time.

Same thing with the youth camp. All the coaches were there and talking with the kids and their families. The way the current and former players interacted with everyone speaks volumes about the character that the staff is recruiting.
