That is why 6 win OSU is not qualified for playoff

3 win LSU beat Florida at their home. Best team does not always Win the games.

Let ‘em in, otherwise they’ll claim a UCF title***

How do you define "best"? That's the problem, and that's why

Dec 12, 2020, 11:26 PM

any legitimate playoff MUST be determined by a process of elimination on the field via conference championships and playoff games. Anything that depends on any type of "ranking" or "rating" system is fraudeulent on it's face.

100%. Bucks clearly have an advantage having not played a gauntlet of games. Also a huge disadvantage given our young secondary not getting reps. Could be walking into a buzzsaw.

Expand the playoff.

Big plays D?

I do not disagree, 6 games is just so small sample... barely half of all other CFP teams

Dec 12, 2020, 11:27 PM

It’s an unfair advantage... lack of games means less injuries, less wear and tear.

But I don’t see them getting left out of CFP if they win next week which they will ????? Northwestern ??

against LSU.

I, for one, am hoping for Northwestern to shock the buttnuts. Though I do realize it’s not likely (and hope is not an acceptable plan of action...).

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

I don't care how good you might be, you still have to play the games.

The committee has got to do away with the "four best" wording

Dec 13, 2020, 8:44 AM

There has to be some valid manner of earning it on the field. Who you are on paper is completely meaningless. Otherwise just give the natty to whomever has the best roster at the start of the season and be done with it. Thats essentially what the committee is saying by using the "four best" not "four deserving" or "4 earned". No one cares who "should" be the best teams, we want you to prove you are and earn it.
