ever seen at Clemson, and I don’t think it’s really close.
The D is nasty. We will give up some big plays. It’s how BV schemes and plays. But no one is going to beat us upfront and no one is going to run the ball. We are relentless in the front 7.
Teams will have to make play after play downfield, against pressure, to have any chance.

They’re loaded with talent, but you’re telling me that If someone forced you bet your house on a game and you could pick any CU offensive unit you wanted, you’re taking this crew over 2016?
I’ll give you an upgrade from Gallman to Etienne ( and that’s saying something), but I’ll call QB and the line a draw, with WRs and TE being downgrades from 16.

I wouldn’t argue too much about it. Certainly possible.

Overall no way. TE and receivers were much better.
2018 Oline was much better though.

I would... obviously you have all of 2016, and only one game

with this group...
But I think, as a whole, this group is better. I love DW4 as much as anyone, but Trevor is different. I think 9 is the best RB to ever touch it at Clemson.
On the whole, I think this group is more dangerous, more versatile, and more experienced than any I’ve ever seen here.

If I just had a little more control over space and time to make that game happen, I could have a new house.

I mostly agree, however TE is not a downgrade; It’s at least a draw.

but there is no proven deep threat. We were spoiled with Williams and Higgins, they made 50/50 balls into 80/20.

That honestly doesn’t worry me.. I think we are better across the board

than years past ... especially with Galloway.
I don’t think you’d see a deep threat after one game.... especially the way WF was bailing.

well, if say Ladson were to step up, we would be that much better. He has no problem getting open.

up big numbers. He’s going to get a lot of 1 on 1’s... and he can get open. He needs to be more consistent when it hits his hands.

nice to see the TEs and backs involved in the passing game, brings versatility as you mentioned. ETN will have well over 2000 APY this year if he stays healthy. Ladson and/or William need to establish themselves as deep threats if we want to beat a team like ND on the road. A lot of Roger's yards would not have been there against a good defense.

Trevor and Etienne were awesome. The O line was good after the first series.
Ngata and Ladson will get better. Agou will be really good when he develops some.
Potter was very strong.
The reserves need some work.
The D will be even nastier when Kendrick returns.
Overall an A for the starters, A for play calling, B minus for the reserves.
I'll take it.
