Basketball scheduling

I'm sure every team goes through it but when Grantham went down at end of note Dame game we had just played 3 games in 5 days. Then have a 5 day layoff with a late Sunday game night and then a quick turnaround for Tuesdays game against UNC. Doest seem very spread out. Back to back games or several days off. Seems 48 hrs isn't long enough to game plan and recover for another game.

UNC was 4 for 19 yesterday vs NCSU. Do you realize what we might do with them if they shoot like that on Tuesday PM? Heels were over 50% for the game so they lit it up in close.
Tigers have their work cutout for them for the remainder of the season if they keep lobbing up a high number of 3's. Use those judicially and when we have a good look to have a chance to win. Surely Brad has emphasized that to this Tiger team. Duke was only 4 for 15 yesterday vs UVA but had 18 TO, while UVA had only 5. UVA did not burn it up shooting but their defense was the winning margin.

TV rules the schedule

a Sunday night ACC game every week... a Monday night ACC game most weeks

2 to 4 teams have that 48-hour turnaround every week

maybe we should look at it as good practice for the NCAA tourney?!

It will get worse with the new ACC Network. They’ll be looking to have games almost every night of the week.
