rally on a Friday night for the Tulane game which was a road game the next night. About four up us went back to Johnsotone, showered and got in the car and were in New orleans the next morning and in the Super Dome for the game at 7 that evening. We all chipped in for a hotel in New Orleans the next morning just to refresh and take a shower. That hotel was very cheap and nasty. You should have seen the shower.

That might be the pep rally the night before Georgia in 1981. Leonard Post toastie, of Leonard Losers was there. He was a Georgia fan and from Athens, but he came to the pep rally and did his thing. He was fun and a good sport.

If I remember correctly, the one in 1981 was at night. Many of us came to the pep rally with our thumbs wrapped up. Hershel Walker was reported all week of having a broken thumb and would not play.

Nice event to kick off fun weekends. Another loss for the Fall 2020 kids and fans. Hope this team at least gets to play their games though, fans or not.
