that's just lame.... late, unattractive, aren't the graphics all stickers?

I'd rather have this than nothing, but they did better in 81.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The initial release was just a plastic wrap-around label...

Aug 1, 2019, 12:04 PM

but I believe these will be screen printed just like the 2016 edition.

I got a six pack on the release earlier this year. Very disappointing. The logo was about the size of your thumb nail. Really really lame. I also bought a six pack of the cans in 2016, three have burst and leaked all over my display.

Put a Pin hole in the lowest part of the dimple at the bottom of the cans, shake it up and leave it out side in the heat for a couple of days and it will empty out without having to open from the top and ruining the looks of the top of the can!!!

Everybody's cans leaked so welcome to the club...

we've been missing you at the meetings.

By the way, it's your turn to bring the beer and snacks to the meeting this month.

You’re right - they look just like the 2016 bottles.

Bi-Lo in Clearwater last Friday. Still had some as of Sunday but not sure how many. Food Lion in North Augusta (at I-20 exit 5) also had plenty on Sunday afternoon.

Coca-Cola has lost so much goodwill in the recent past with Clemson bottles and cans commemorating our success. They can't give me either one due to leaking or distribution problems. Very disappointing.

2024 orange level membermilitary_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Would be nice if they went back to 10-12 oz bottles

Aug 1, 2019, 5:23 PM

Then they could make something that lists the schedule & the teams accomplishments. But still a neat little momento to collect. Just hope there's better availability compared to last time b/c not all of us are fortunate enough to live in the upstate, Columbia, or Charleston.

1974 Pepsi was by far the best bottle but the others mean so much more!

I would have thought Pepsi would make our bottles for championship. There bottles were always nicer. Wasn’t Pepsi founded in the upstate

The 2016 bottles were sold by the Spinx stations. I wonder if they will be selling them again.

Pepsi bottle from 1974 was nice but Pepsi was founded in North Carolina not South Carolina. Also, Coke sponsors Clemson Athletics so it's not likely that Pepsi would be allowed to put out a Clemson bottle now.

Clemson also had (probably still has) a university-wide contract with Coke.
