I don’t get the 24 pt line against FSU. They lost to UVA by 7 and Boise by 4, both from 2nd half collapses. They are not anywhere near the team they were last year and so far neither is Clemson. This will be a 4 quarter game maybe with a 10-12 point Clemson win. These expectations make no sense this year.

Anything over 20 against a non SEC east Power 5 team is a crap shoot. Once a team gets a big lead they may start subbing or running clock so you just don’t know. Unless it’s OU or OSU or Bama and other run-it-up teams like that. The Tar Heels had shown they would play hard for 60 minutes and could score 20-30 a game so you needed to score 50 to cover that line. They shortened the game and made a few stops - easy cover. FSU has more talent than UNC but have faded in the 4th quarter due to depth problems. If they come out fast like they have and get up 10-14 on us, it just increases the pressure on the O.
