Hope that you are right mr kilowatt but I am looking at this crisis in an entirely different way. This is a very bad situation that hasn’t come close to reaching its peak . This is something that America wasn’t prepared for and that is a sad reality?

There is a 0.0% chance that the fans will be allowed in. No way we go from this aggressive of social distancing to allowing 80,000 fans in close proximity in a matter of 5 months. Never going to happen

I hope you are right however I suspect abbreviated season of 9-10 games starting October 1. Travel schedules, transfer portal, the PC crowd, etc. I just see them saying it cannot all be ready to go by August 1 for Fall camp. My bet is they say practice can start September 1 with first games October 1. Lots of scrambling to adjust schedules to try to balance numbers of league games in order to retain Natty playoff. But even that could be in jeopardy just for this year. I pray I am wrong. We will know in a couple of weeks.

But this virus is much,much bigger than college football. August will be here before you know it. Not likely the virus will disappear by then and not likely that a cure will be developed, tested and produced and made available to you and me by then. It seems like months ago when I was trying to get a refund on my tournament tickets ... but it was only a few days ago. And things are much worse now than they were in late February.

Curve will flatten by June, everything will go back to normal for a few months, but then it will resurface again in the fall, and college football will be cut short
