Her opponent must have really been a dud or her district is a very weird place. Pubs need to strongly consider a plan to toss her crazy ### out of the House.

In certain parts of Ga, a solo cup could win elections as long as it had a R next to their name.
It’s also amusing watching the MSM act like she is some leader in the Republican Party. No one has heard of her before last week and now that’s all the MSM is talking about. Who’s crazier- Greene or Omar?

Omar's not particularly stupid...honestly, I just don't think she's got a particularly American values system. She's Somalian, from a heavily Somalian district in Minnesota. She runs as a Dem because of its Big Tent nature but the reality is Somalis are distinctly not liberal, at all...they tend to be rigid, tribal, xenophobic, highly suspicious of outsiders, and generally traditional and conservative Muslims.
Does Omar particularly identify as an "American"? I don't know. I'd be interested to know. That doesn't necessarily make her unfit to hold office but I also sometimes question where her heart really is, too.
Greene, I have no doubt whatsoever. She's just batsh!t crazy.

Wait if Omar does not identify as an American it would not necessarily make her unfit for office? I had to read that several times. Seems like identifying as an American would be the absolute minimum standard.

from the nutty Q crowd. Was freshman AOC some big Democrat leader a few years ago, just because of the attention she was getting? They're either both true, or neither are. Notice no Republicans have publicly denounced MTG--that should give you some indicator of the sheer numbers behind her. She isn't as fringe as some on this board believe, and it was news when she got elected to people paying attention to the conspiracy theorist sphere.

AOC. Its just who is on your team, that is who you will defend.
I am not sure why the Proud Boys or the Q Crowd scare people so much. Its a bunch of freaks and douchebags, maybe with numbers in thousands, not 10's of thousands. I think at one time Proud Boys was like 2500 dudes.
Its all about feeling disenfranchised. They all have their own grievances and mainly it comes from no one wanting to listen to their voice, everyone demeaning them and they need to find their way and feel like they are being heard. Its the same for BLM. ANTIFA, Proud Boys, Boogaloos, Q Anon....etc, etc..
They all feel as if they are not heard, they are out of work, they are poor, their communities are #### and no one seems to care to make change.
I wonder what exactly has happened in AOC's district? Have wages risen, has housing become more affordable? Has she worked with the State Legislature to find a way to get a bill to the federal level to help with low income housing? At one time garbage service was suspended in parts of her district. What did she do to help in that situation?

I have no idea really how to access the content how it it works. My numbers were more around the boogaloo crowd and Proud Boys, who seem to get more attention and undeservedly so. They admit to carrying guns so that they will get attention to their movement.
If the Q crowd are such a threat, why can we not find them and shut it down? They seem to be able to do this to everyone else online and even find people in the dark web (at times). I see zero stories about how anyone is trying to combat the behavior or going after the schmuck who believe and want to do harm. And dont give me links to places, you know what I mean, on nightly news on or on my Twitter feed, I never see anyone talking about going after them.

what is the Q crowd doing that is a danger to society? I am not sure to be honest, other than the Capitol protest, what else are they doing that harms others? Or are we just now going after them because is sexy?
Are the Q people burning down police precincts? Are they looting and rioting on a nightly basis? What is it that we are supposed to be so concerned about with Q that needs this much attention?
If Q was the Capitol protest, then go ahead and take them down and arrest everyone. Seems as if they have been doing that anyway.

How do you go after a belief?

Explaining to someone who is in the weeds with that stuff only hardens their resolve, as there's always another conspiracy theory that explains why the first one fell through.
Some of them woke up when Trump just left and went to Florida and Biden was inaugurated. Nothing happened, no military to stop the inauguration, no take over, nada. Others just keep saying to "follow the plan" and that 1/20 is an arbitrary day anyway, and that the REAL POTUS inauguration is March 4, and that the military will be re-installing Trump as President then.
Anything that people believe is going to have to be done on their own. And some will never change their mind. Just like my idiot grandfather who went to his grave thinking the moon landing was faked, some of these people will never change their mind. Trump will always be on the cusp of "saving them".

she is some leader of the Republican party". Omar certainly isn't considered a leader of the Democratic party by any standard I've seen. AOC is a bigger figure with a bigger voice, which is why I mentioned her, but her level of actual power isn't much different than Omar. I find both to be annoying, and not particularly good influences on the majority of moderate politicians and voters--much like MTG is doing to the GOP. She's swinging the same ax handle that Trump is (was, but his influence will still be seen in 2022, you can bank on that).
Also, "not fondling Israel's balls" being the same as "Anti-Semitism" is a false equivalency. Religion, of ALL flavors, is what's ultimately going to destroy this planet.

and she got the backing of the House Freedom Caucus early in that runoff.
She basically used socialism and communism more than he did early.
Instead of trying to offer a counter to her, he filmed ads shooting up a covid sign. She won the battle of the most bombastic.
Spencer Hogg ran Cowan's campaign. I've met him a few times and he seemed pretty bright to me and has been involved in GOP party in GA and TN for a few years, but I think he was in over his head. He seemed to make a lot of mistakes on positioning.

Maybe its time to revaluate the whole Republican party:
"Loony lies and conspiracy theories are cancer for the Republican Party and our country. Somebody who's suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.'s airplane is not living in reality,"

Neurosurgical Society and pro life Trump supporter was her primary opponent.
About MTG, Cowan said. “I’m a neurosurgeon. I diagnose crazy every day. It took five minutes talking to her to realize there were bats in the attic. And then we saw she had skeletons in the closet.”

There is a reality wing of the party and a conspiracy theory wing of the party. The reality wing is not winning.
It’s a dang shame too. They are missing a golden opportunity to move on from the Trump cult and win back moderates who work hard, make money, pay taxes, but have no choice but to vote for moderate democrats.

She is bat chit crazy, but for the record, I too take a dim view of Satan worshipping, cannibalistic, blood drinking pedophiles. I think she will find complete bipartisan support for such a stance when she identifies such a unicorn. It would be fun to get a few drinks in her and listen to her take off completely unbridled and unhinged.

I'm assuming you're talking about this quote/position:
“This pandemic, COVID-19, has certainly highlighted and exasperated every socio, ratio, and political fault line in our country.
And I’m just advocating to make sure that when we are talking about those that are most vulnerable, our low-income residents and citizens, those experiencing homelessness, our seniors, that we are also including the incarcerated men and women, who are certainly amongst one of the most vulnerable populations.”
So we disagree with that position. Is that really the same in your mind as promoting wild conspiracy theories and any of the number of racist comments Greene has made?
