The Coot game CANNOT be played this year...

Aug 7, 2020, 10:54 PM

...sooo many have opined on why the Governor, Supreme Court, or even Chuck Norris hasn't stepped in. The fact is there is no date available to play them.

The ACC left the door open by announcing the 10+1 schedule (presumably leaving 12/5 available for rivalry games). The SEC then closed that door a couple days later by announcing their 10 game conference only schedule starting 2 weeks after the ACC (which concludes on 12/5).

The ACC also said during the 10+1 announcement that the ACCCG would be played EITHER on 12/12 or 12/19 in Charlotte. So the only possible date to play the Coots would be 12/12 but that is not an option since the ACCCG MAY be played the same day.

So as much as we all want it, it ain't gonna happen.

Even Superman can't change things. It's just the way it is.Clemson wants the Game, the SEC doesn't There will also be no Louisville vs Kentucky,Florida vs Florida State,or Ga.vs Ga.Tech.
You might call it politics, but Covid 19 calls the shots this season.

You are correct about Superman but I do believe
Chuck Norris could get it done. Most folks don't
cut their grass until Chuck tells them too.
