No, it's their coach, being from Alabama, I hear a lot about Coach Freze and he acts a little like Dabo when he visits the schools... He isn't high and mighty like some. If you ever get to go to the campus, the game day experience is great, kinda like the Clemson, Auburn tailgate venues. It draws the mommas and so that's where the sons go.

I know people say the same thing about us, but if you asked me to pick one school who uses shady tactics in recruiting it would be Ole Miss.

But when you see the atmosphere at Death Valley for games and Dabo's obvious love for his job and the program, it's obvious why top recruits are flocking to Clemson. ALsom we have the tradition, and what parent wouldn't want his kid to go to Clemson
Ultimately, what I'm saying is something smells in Oxford, MI. And while we're at it, why don't we see what's going on at Baylor in Waco, TX as well

When a kid has that attitude which leads to adult misbehavior it's pretty obvious. Just as Clemson gather a collection of quality athletes which have quality of character and upbringing Old Miss gathers their opposites.
The SEC conference in general has perpetuated this and it looks like Old Miss is working on becoming their flagship program.

It's the SEC west moniker and he is a good recruiter though he doesn't have the same standard of character instilled in his program. He is an enabler. That doesn't really have anything to do with recruiting though.

Bama
Auburn
LSU
Arky
TAMU
I'd MUCH rather deal with Ole Miss or Miss State fans than any of the other ones. More power to them.

brothers why would a parent want their child put into that world. Of course most everything you hear is hearsay, but it seems Denzel's football career on any level might be over. Some are saying that Robert hasn't been to a class since September. Who knows if any of that is true, but I would want to know who was funding a luxury hotel room in Atlanta? Who is supplying the weed? Are there parents really giving them a spending account? It makes you wonder what is going on down there.

was more trivial. `People always say they are cheating, but we really don't know and that's always the easy response.
Fact is Hugh Freeze is a an excellent coach and a good person who has that attractive personality (just like Dabo). He took over an Ole Miss program that was really bad right before he came and has them in their second straight Big 6 bowl game in a row. He has beaten Alabama (widely viewed as the king of CFB nowadays) two straight years in a row and won at a high level with another QB now. The gig isn't just a one hit wonder.
He'll have 3 top 15 picks this year in the NFL draft and Ole Miss and High Freeze will be plastered all over ESPN on draft day in April. Once you get the elite kids the first go round and they have the success they expected, then it becomes easier to get them the next time.
Ole Miss reminds me of us just a few years ago. They have the talent and coaching, but still struggles in maturity in showing up each week. They have beaten the best and then laid a few eggs as well.
I expect them to string together a few runs in the next 5 years.
That's my take.

Something is amiss in their coaching staff. They've been recruiting like this for multiple years and should be loaded. It's clear they can recruit and just as clear that they can't coach.

The first major class Freeze landed was pretty...indicative. He got Nkimdiche out from under us - and RN's coach was Clemson all the way, but Mama wasn't having it - and how that went down, and what happened there, is pretty much a matter of public record. The Nigerian government is as inept and institutionally corrupt as there is on the planet; there is a way business is done there and it's so ingrained it isn't even considered corruption anymore, it's just...business. There's actually specialized research firms that publish unofficial evaluations of which officials in various third-world governments are the most "trustworthy" in their corruption - meaning, which guys actually stay bought and give value for the buck. Kind of like a EBay seller rating.
You don't get the #1 player in America from Atlanta, Georgia, when you're three states away in Ole Miss and there's a dozen better programs within that radius, unless there's some...funny business going, sorry. Especially when a Nigerian government official is involved. That one was...obvious.
What made it especially glaring was when Freeze turned around and grabbed Tunsil from Florida, and Treadwell out of Indiana. Again, #1 overall players at their positions - OT and WR - and five-stars jumping multiple states to go to a 7-5 program with absolutely zero history of recent success?
Alrightee then. When recruiting success precedes on-the-field success, something is amiss, and it glaringly happened at Ole Miss. It did not go down that way at Clemson.

If you have never been to the Ole Miss campus, then you wouldn't understand IMO. The campus is freaking awesome, and the girls are pretty. Now - if you have a problem with that, then I can't help you.
