Sat down in a restaurant in Boone this week

I had on a Clemson shirt and the guy beside me said, Clemson, uggh. My reply was National Champs. He just shook his head. Got to talking though and he was an Ohio State fan, was very complimentary of Clemson and Dabo. It's awesome the respect we now have.

Or Mount Pleasant. It's downright scary how many have moved into the lowcountry over the last 10 years or so.

Sadly, they are infesting everywhere south of the Mason Dixon line and bringing unwanted baggage with them.

The whole southern coast is littered with them. I live in Savannah and see more of them when I suffered through the four years I lived in Florence KY...

When I lived in Florida, I thought the last few Ohioans had moved there. Imagine my surprise to move back the Carolinas and find them everywhere here too.
How can there be anyone left in O31O?

from 1970 to 2020 pop in Ohio has grown

from 10.7 million to 11.7 million people or about 10% growth over 50 years.
In the same period, SC's population has doubled from 2.6 to 5.2 million
NC's population has doubled over the last 50 years too and is about twice as big as SC

That's because Raleigh, Charlotte and the rest of the big cities up here in NC have been being invaded by Yankees from not only Ohio, but also Pennsylvania, NY, NJ and the rest of the not so "Great" Northeast! They come here and brag about how great it is up there and tell us how we are doing everything wrong down here. But they refuse to go back to the $#1thole they came from and then proceed to vote in the exact same type of trash in offices that ruined their beloved homeland!
Getting off my soapbox now, S.T.

Joy Bistro in Boone is very good, but the absolute best fine dining in the High Country is Artisinal in Banner Elk. Skip The Gamekeeper....
