saw him maybe 30 or so yrs. ago.theater had a round moveable stage in the center,so there were no bad seats.toward the end of his performance LR invited all the kids to come up on stage with him while he continued playing and singing.then he invited anyone in the audience as well.everyone was dancing on stage.can't remember the songs at that moment,but i'm sure they were some of his best like long tall sally,keep a-knockin',and rip it up.incredible!what a showman.can you imagine that happening today?

and I sat next to him in the bar at the Hyatt (the riot house) on sunset in West Hollywood years ago. RIP. ??
