If the tigers did go undefeated and get left out of the playoff and went 14-0 and then went 15-0 next year and won the title next year with an uninterrupted streak of 44-0 , would people look back and claim this years national title was bogus or do u think they'd let it go. Outside of tiger fans of course.

How would it affect the legitimacy of this year is my question.

I'm sure TigerNet would let it go because the vocal majority have consistently said the current 4 team CFP set up is perfect.

zero point zero chance of that happening, the CFP would never risk leaving a defending National Champ who completely blitzed BAMA the year before & is on a 28 game win streak, because if some one loss team wins the Natty in a National Title Game & a undefeated Clemson team demolishes the team they play in a major bowl, all the polls not tied to the CFP would declare Clemson the National Champion & would make the optics of the CFP look atrocious & most people would call the CFP winner a fraudulent champion, to quote Ric Flair "To be the best, you have to beat the best"
