mandate" last Friday 13th. how come some schools are able to accept "commitments".

Don't you think they would have to have some sort of contact with the prospect to accept the commitment??

A prospect can commit anytime they want to. There is no official transaction between the athlete and the school at this time. They can even back out of the commitment if they want to. This is just an indication on their part what they intend to do.

Maybe every school except Clemson. Something tells me a message would find its way to any recruit who put out a public commitment to Clemson without talking to Dabo first.
