Punting - anyone think it may cost us?

Just curious - I honestly think our most glaring weakness is in the punting game. In a tight game, where teams like Bama and OSU have great punters that can flip the field, we frankly do not.

Hoping Dabo has that high on the checklist as it's prob one of my top concerns for this team if we get in a tight game. Thoughts?

I think there was a kicker visiting last weekend. Not sure if he was a punter, field goal guy, or both.
Have not heard how he his visit went.

What became of the kid in Charlotte who was an all world kicker? I never read of anyone signing him last season

The punter fron SC State was very good. Give him a scholarship.

yes, punting is a weak spot

its one of those things you take for granted until you see your guy punting 40 yds and all your opponents are going 60. Just like kickoff coverage last year, this weak punting will hurt us at some point.

BUT none of it matters if our guys dont start holding on to the ball.
