Props to Rex Culpepper

coming back from cancer to play well though a little inconsistent.
He threw a couple of long passes right on target much to our dismay
but missed on a lot of short ones. I like to see these inspirational
stories of overcoming obstacles like Pitt's James Connor and Clemson's
Clate Schmidt a few years ago. Culpepper should win the Piccolo award
this year.

I agree with your assessment, but lets also congratulate him on throwing a few balls to the guys in orange.

Even without the cancer story, he was making his first start on the road as a senior? I’d guess that was because he wasn’t producing up til now. He didn’t embarrass himself or his team, he stood in there, took his licks and didn’t flinch. I like when we play grinders that rise to the occasion.
