Parking at VT

Any recommendations for parking and tailgating at VT? My cousin that lives in the area checked on a spot but was $125. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Try parking at the old Blacksburg Middle School, it’s $15. About half a mile from campus. Address is 501 south Main Street. Also many residents on clay street and eheart which surround the old middle school rent out their yard for spots. Tons of tailgating around this area.

Thanks! My family lives in the area and my cousin mentioned the middle school, but was told it was for parking only not tailgating. We looked at a spot on Edgewood Lane (same spot as we parked the last time Clemson played at Tech) and he wanted $120 for our SUV tailgate. What should we expect to pay (ballpark) in these private tailgating spots?

I am a longtime VT fan as my second team. 100% Tiger, but other half of my family lives in the Dublin-Riner-Christiansburg area (Father graduated from Radford High) and grandmother worked for VT. So glad to play you guys, brings more fun to family events!
