Huggins likely to thUGgA

Dec 10, 2014, 7:54 AM

I try to avoid negative posts but I am using this as an informative post. I Saw where Hobby probably isn't doing a drop in. Unless he is going to try to go before or after Richt's in-home on Thursday. That doesn't seem all that likely and I fear it is because he has already told the coaches where he is going. Seems to be how all this stuff works out. Shame because now he is just another recruit among 6 or 7 other good DL recruits. They will still some how manage to lose the east to Mizzou. Had he come to Clemson he might have had a chance to even start and would likely be in the ACC championship. Oh well best of luck Huggins.

Hopefully, Plan B is better than it has been the last few

years. Seems we put all of our eggs in one basket and, when the word comes down that we aren't getting the player, there is no suitable fall back position.

We've been striking out a lot at defensive line the last few years.

I wouldn't study it. We're very much in it. Plus

Josh Sweat makes his decision at 10 AM this morning. If JS goes to ThUGA it could impact what Bert does. I believe he'd see more playing time here next season as we've got some gaps to fill.
Just my take on it.

We WERE in it, not any more. It's UGA all the way.

Another blue chipper Dabs lost to UGA.

Mark Richt is a helluva recruiter and they also have that SEC thing to beat recruits over the head with. And with ESPN blatantly bragging on the SEC non-stop, it works.

Clemson IS in it. Check his Twitter account and you'll see.

A lot of Clemson and just as much jawga. It is 50/50. He's been on campus many, many times. He's camped here and made several unofficial visits. He made an official for the scar game and had plenty of positive things to say. Dabo and crew were recently in Orangeburg for an in home visit. Plus he knows he's likely to play next year if he chooses CU.

So... YES we are still in it.

As st coaches are also limited on the amount of visits they can make we may have reach that number , plus uga gave us last week maybe the family thinks its only fair to give them this week. I still think it is Clemson. Been that way for too long. Kids like to build drama before they choose.

I see you're still a little salty from November 29th***

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

A 35-17 Stomping will do that***

Surprised we aren't signing top flight defensive tackles

and difference makers this recruiting class given that we are losing 3 this year and only have 4 on the roster. With only 2 committed for a total of 6 DTs on the roster, we really need three more. If we have an injury to an upperclassman, we are in deep do do.

This is the ideal time to attract the big boys who want a shot at early playing time. Unfortunately, we don't seem to be getting them.

And for those that are saying that we are lacking dl for this cycle, Austin Bryant #9, C. Ferrell #7, Sterling Johnson #24, Gage Cervenka #63 and Lasamuel Davis #50 all say hi. In a normal year we would be jumping for joy with just these prospects.
