have never done is lace a pair of boots up to defend our country.
Yet they have the temerity to question the patriotism of someone who lost her legs for their country.
It is quite a remarkable position to take but I’m not surprised in the least. They are sadly like a lot of folk who never served, and can’t grasp the meaning of the word sacrifice. We’ve somehow reached a new low.

Trump was sleeping with a bunch of military wives, playing tennis, and living it up in NYC while others went and fought. He would have been there, but his family's doctor diagnosed him with bone spurs. He was obviously devastated to not be able to go. That's why he bashes POW's for getting caught. He would have never been caught or wounded.

challenging your patriotism. I'd imagine if you are like most people I've met in the service you wouldn't take too kindly to me questioning your love of country.
According to Carlson, a man who has never served mind you, if I disagree with you about America, the first thing I should do is challenge your patriotism...... even if you have had your legs blown off in service to America. In his world it seems a sacrifice of your body parts is no longer enough for you to get in to his exclusive Patriot Club.
Sorry to have to tell you the bad news, you better remember Tucker Carlson's line you have to toe from now on.

that one can serve and subsequently be unpatriotic? Nice. You’re finally coming around. In fact the list of examples is very long. Yet Duckworth plays the “I can never be criticized for anything I say because legs” card which is BS and shows how weak her stance is.
Which must be part of the frustration of Hillary losing because no matter what bat####crazy socialist policy she burped out, it could never be criticized because “misogyny.” Just like the previous 8 years of you can’t criticize anything because “racism.” You don’t ever have to defend or justify your position because all disagreements are silenced.

If you really want to get ridiculous, do a Trumper "what-about" for these guys who served honorably (at least while active) instead:
Lee Harvey Oswald Timothy McVeigh John Allen Muhammed and less famous bad people.

There is no way you saw any true xrays of Trump's feet. Besides if you even know what happened during the draft is that the military docs determined if you were 4-f. I have a brother-in-law that was rejected for flat feet. Believe me during Vietnam the military docs showed no mercy to rich guys. I was in basic with several of them. At least when he was called, he didn't refuse to show up then run hide in Russia like Bill Clinton. And what unit did Obama serve or FDR or several presidents.

I am a veteran of two wars. I don't think that is the measure of one's patriotism. I know a lot of patriotic people who never served one day in the military. On the other hand, I know people who served in the military that I would question their patriotism. Our political beliefs often tend to trump logic.

I would say that Joe's time served as an enlisted man in our armed forces during not one, but two world wars, and has seen more men die under our countries stars and stripes, should make his opinion/belief carry more weight over what constitutes true patriotism over any jackleg that has never shouldered a weapon in a real live war while being shot at, and returning fire, in any/every conversation about men and women's true patriotism. Patriotism is a heck of an emotion bc, it is what drives men and women to pay the ultimate price by freely giving the only life they have to help keep their country safe and free from terrorism and communism.
Patriotism = devoted love, support, and defense of one's country; national loyalty. As Joe stated in his post, he has seen non military men and women that were willing to pay the ultimate price of Patriotism, and he has seen men in the military that wasn't willing to pay the ultimate price of Patriotism. And there are men and women that join our armed forces as a job career, and they have no intentions of paying the ultimate price for their country, but are willing to receive the benefits that our armed forces offer as long as they can stay behind enemy lines where they don't have to risk their life!!!

Wow, so basically just just called two different people who were awarded Purple Hearts and shed blood for this country traitors because you don’t like their politics. You F’in sheep will believe anything you read on Breitbart or OANN. Are you someone who believes Duckworth isn’t a “real” American because her mother was Thai? If people were required to score above a certain level on an IQ test in order to vote in their country we wouldn’t have nearly as many problems as we have today.

Hitler served in Germany's military, and even saw a good bit of action, in WW1. Does that mean he should have been above being scrutinized for being an obvious nutjob by anyone who hadn't also served in Germanys armed forces? Or is this just an excuse left wing kooks trot out to shut up dissent? I don't seem to remember ever hearing a left wing communist type give any Republicans who have served any respect whatsoever before calling them every usual insulting name in their vocabulary.

No one ever doubted that that spawn of satan fool was patriotic, in fact he was a nationalist just like Trumple foreskin claims to be. BTW calling someone a nationalist is not a compliment like the buffoon-in-chief believes it to be. I say trump claims to be patriotic because in fact he doesn’t really give a crap about this country or anyone in it; just what it can do for him. As for Republican patriots; I had a great deal of respect for John McCain. Unfortunately comrad Donald the orange showed him the same contempt he does anyone who won’t kiss his ###. PS. I’m not a left-wing democrat, just a disgusted Republican like John Bolton who is ashamed of the party that I grew up with.

Trump will lose in a record-setting landslide and be under investigation for treason by March. It’ll be a glorious spring in 2021; we’ll finally be coming out of the COVID haze and our republic will be on the long road to recovery. No tears here, because my love and confidence in the people of this nation afford me the hope that better days are ahead. As for anger; if you aren’t incensed by the abhorrent behavior and shame this president has visited upon his office then you aren’t the patriot you believe yourself to be.

American. They are a lovely young couple here in Bogota. The British guy is probably center-right and the American gal is probably left-center politically-wise to give you perspective.
They said that they are just shocked there aren't more Republicans disgusted with Trump's behavior. It got me thinking. I get the tribal instinct of mankind but don't understand how a mature adult can listen to this man and not think anything other than a buffoon.
Dude claims to be 'the best' at everything. Calls people silly nick-names, completely botched COVID, incoherent temper tantrums on Twitter, paying off #### stars, cheating on wife when she was pregnant, etc, etc, etc.
I get it to be conservative - my entire huge family is completely right-winged. I am not bashing conservatism. To be honest, I like a balance. But this man is an embarrassment to the office and to the GOP. It will really cost them in November because the base was never going anywhere but the center-left/right are. Just my two-cents.

embarrassed by Trump since the 2016 campaign. He is an embarrassment to the Office of President of the United States. When former military cabinet members have nothing but derogatory comments on Trump, we should all pay attention.
Trump is all about himself. His father got him out of Vietnam. He refuses to share his taxes. Add the items you mentioned regarding his lack of morals puts him in his on personal category of a poor President.

the economy was great with Bill Clinton too. I had several issues with his morals. Turns out ole Bill was pretty corrupt as well. Can't this beautiful, wonderful country do better? Heck, I think Romney would be a huge upgrade at this point.

Heck, he'll be lucky to make it through his first term alive. You want a president who can't read off of a teleprompter, much less make up his own speeches? A president perceived as weak? He's basically a robot, unable to think or speak for himself. He just spews out whatever his team tells him to. Just wait until the debates start, if they even let Biden participate. Better hope you guys figure out a damm good vice president.
No, Trump isn't perfect. I'll be the first to admit that. He has tons of flaws and can't keep from putting his foot in his mouth a lot of times.
We as Americans should be ashamed that these 2 are the best we can do.
And I said that about the last election too.
It's thoroughly embarrassing.

Will you be sitting on the Biden cabinet? Sure sounds like you are an apt nominee to me. If I ever read statements on TigerNet from a 'RINO', you are the classic example. Voice your political idealism on another site. You might wish to move to Chicago(they will adore you, there) and bow at the podium of Senator Duckworth. She is no more entitled to judge the patriotism of persons than any other American citizen; remember that.

If Trump loses Florida, he will lose the election. I think he will lose enough swing states outside of Florida to lose the election given the current polling. If he loses Florida, it will be a big win for Biden.

Some of you RINOS still do not understand. Outside of 3 hours at night, Fox News is not Conservative. The Fox News Poll is run by a Democrat. 90% of these polls are Push Polls where they over sample Democrats. If you see it was taken of “Registered” voters or “Adults” then it is inaccurate. Lefties have been doing garbage polls to try and manipulate and influence the electorate!

I'm a lifelong Republican, but every Republican candidate is not the best candidate simply because they are Repubilcan. Trump is all about division. Remember, he was a lifelong Democrat until he ran against Clinton. Trump is all about himself, and nothing else matters.

It is astonishing to watch those who are so offended by the removal of Confederate monuments, are also completely unmoved when a decorated veteran who lost 2 legs fighting in Iraq is accused of being a traitor and unpatriotic because she "suggested" a national conversation was appropriate over monument removals. That was her crime.
The hypocrisy here is mind-numbing.

His head writer resigned tonight for truly racist comments on an online forum. Tucker is trash and like Trump, has never received the ### whooping that he deserves. That is a problem for some people.

I see the protest at Tanners Big Orange must have ended early today as the marxist are out crying about lack patriotism. Boy there's something I never thought I'd say
Duckworth is a left wing wacko who is basically the poster child for where our country is going. McCain was trash right along side of her, and you crybabies can't seem to understand that serving in the military does not give you the right to fundamentally transform this country into a craphole.
Whether I agree with everything Tucker says or not, he's o.k. by me for getting under the skin of any liberal. Just as in their childhood and on into adulthood, they hate to be told their wrong

F off coot let’s not forget that you stated on this site that you wanted Clemson to burn because they supported a political cause that you don’t believe in.

geech, just stop it. Your better than that language you use.
I've seen you use your words for good.
Who can forget, there was not one man-bun that wasnt quivering with emotion when you led that "DOWN WITH AMERICA " cadence count at the last protest. Let's regroup and not let this affect our long lasting friendship!

Man you were up late last night; I guess the Klan rally ran long. If you're looking for friendship there are a whole host of 900 numbers that employ people who would be happy to accommodate you. That is of course only if you can spare the time away from being Trump's fluffer for a bit. As for this site, the real Clemson fans who saw your posts about hoping for harm to come to our little Hamlet, prolly aren't gonna hold you in the highest of esteem.

He is attacking her because she might be a potential VP candidate , Fox is so full of propaganda it is ridiculous. Trump is the biggest idiot in the world and I know that for a fact. I was a camera op on several projects from 2002-2011 where Trump was on set and we laughed about what an idiot he was. This was way before his political career so our view had nothing to do with politics. The word libturd hadn't been invented yet and right-wing was something on a Chick-fil-a menu. So you can believe what you want but you don't know anything, you just know what Fox and Trump tell so you and think you are right and well informed but you but you are so wrong. So very wrong.

Seriously - why in the great goodness of our Lord can't some of you morons figure out how to post this kind of crap over on the P&R board. It is purely politics and purely designed to start political arguments.
Here is the link to the P&R board: https://www.tigernet.com/forum/Politics--Religion-97Political, Religion, World Issues
More importantly here is a direct link that will allow you to start a thread on the P&R board: https://www.tigernet.com/forums/post!default.jspa?forumID=97
Make a bookmark, desktop shortcut or whatever you need but please stop posting this crap on FOOTBALL BOARD!

My focus is solely on Carlson's shameless moral grandstanding.
For someone like him to inject a patriotism test into an argument is the height of hypocrisy. ### has this man ever done for his country? When you compare his record with Sen. Duckworth, the audacity is outrageous.
If we are testing patriotism, I'd take a war hero who gave her legs to her country over the likes of this scoundrel any day of the week.
Just found out that he is the heir to the Swanson chicken family, so maybe it makes sense, IDK.
